Railroad track bridge over the Provo river during an epic sunset. This was a gorgeous scene that even my camera couldn't quite catch. The golden pines in the background and the shaded bridge created a contrast hard to photo.

My annual Autumn visit to the beautiful Cawdor woods, taken late last month just before we headed off.
Su construcción sobre el río Gaudiana, está vinculada con el origen de la colonia Augusta Emérita (Mérida). La última restauración fue llevada a cabo en el siglo XIX. Tiene 792 m. de largo y 12 m. de altura.y tiene 6o arcos. En la actualidad es un puente peatonal.
Its construction over the Guadiana river, is linked to the origin of the colony Emerita Augusta (Merida). The last restoration was carried out in the nineteenth century. It has 792 m. long and 12 m. of altura.y it has 60 arches. Today it is a pedestrian bridge.

The Menai Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Menai Strait between the island of Anglesey and the mainland of Wales. Designed by Thomas Telford and completed in 1826, it was the world's first major suspension bridge. The bridge still carries road traffic and is a Grade I listed structure.

Another look at the old Ozark mill on the Finley River as you cross the bridge. We’re ready for a new year, and maybe we need to focus more on what lies ahead. Some of the beauty, however, like these old structures can be safely tucked away to remind us that the past two years haven’t been all bad. Photography helps us remember the good times….
The city of Toledo, which is also now the capital of the Autonomous Community of Castile-La Mancha, is one of the most oft-visited cities in Spain. Its historical significance as a major city during the Roman, Visigoth, Muslim, and Christian eras is reflected in the abundance of commemorative monuments and ancient structures that still dot its breathtaking cityscape, making it a true tourist favorite for those interested in ancient Spanish and European history. It is also one of the main cultural hubs of Spain, largely due to the confluence of Muslim, Jewish and Christian groups that once resided there in relative tranquility, earning it, in 1986, the designation of “World Heritage Site” by the United Nations commission on history and culture (UNESCO).
As you arrive in Toledo, one of the first sights you’ll notice is the winding El Rio Tajo, Spanish for the Tagus River, which surrounds the city on three sides—much like a moat would surround an ancient castle. It is the longest river in the Iberian Peninsula, and although it winds through parts of Spain and Portugal, Toledo is the largest Spanish city on its banks. The city depends on the Tagus River for its water and power and as a recreational source, not to mention the added beauty and allure it adds to the city in general.
A bridge over the Tyne was built in the 13th century, but this original has not survived. The present bridge, an impressive stone structure with seven arches, was erected in 1674.

Πέτρινο Γεφύρι Της Γκούρας - Stone Bridge of Goura..
Ανατολικό Ζαγόρι - (Τρίστενο)
Το γεφύρι της Γκούρας στο Τρίστενο γεφυρώνει το ομώνυμο ρέμα το οποίο χύνεται στον Βάρδα ποταμό. Είναι αρκετά πιο κάτω απο το χωριό.
Είναι ένα μονότοξο γεφύρι, το οποίο είχε κατασκευασθεί για να εξυπηρετεί την επικοινωνία των κατοίκων της περιοχής με τα Γιάννενα. Το γεφύρι αυτό ενώνει τις δύο όχθες του ρέματος της Γκούρας.
Δεν είναι γνωστό το πότε και από ποιούς κατασκευάσθηκε. Σήμερα βρίσκεται σε καλή κατάσταση. Παλαιότερα υπήρχε και άλλο μικρό γεφύρι εκεί κοντά το οποίο έχει καταρρεύσει.
Eχει στηθαία από ανισοϋψείς αρκάδες, μόνο στο τμήμα της κορυφής του. Ιδιαίτερο χαρακτηριστικό του γεφυριού αποτελεί η κρήνη στα αριστερά της καμάρας, στην κατάντη πλευρά. Στην άκρη του δυτικού τοιχίου, έχει κατασκευαστεί μικρότερη ψευδοκαμάρα για να νερά ενός μικρότερου ρέματος.
Είναι γνωστό και ως γεφύρι «Αβραμίδη» πιθανότατα από το όνομα του ιδιοκτήτη των γειτονικών κτημάτων.
