I thought this little guy had got caught up in the middle of the naked bike ride by mistake but, when the protesters cycled into the Steine, he arrived with them and sat down to enjoy a tea break. Clearly a man who agrees with the principles of protesting against oil dependancy but not with the need to get his kit off ;-))
For those of you concerned, and able, you can go to Audubon, and sign up to help our beautiful birds as the oil approaches our shores.

I was fortunate to witness this beautiful Great Blue Heron busily making trips to find perfect branches to add the finishing touches to the nest. The female waited for, and received each offering, tucking the branches in precisely. The "handoff" from one to the other is pure cooperation.
