This Griswald guy has a watt of Christmas spirit.... Seriously.... If I was the code enforcement officer and saw this situation I would feel obligated to have an electrical safety talk with the home owner. Nobody wants to burn their home down or place family and pets in harm’s way to celebrate Christmas.

This is a huge spider's web with a huge spider in the middle of a roundabout. You can hardly see it because of all the trees. Made with ropes and metal.

Last year I took a picture of this fascinating spider's web www.flickr.com/photos/ronbox/2712876952/in/set-7215760366... and for some reason it has been the most googled image of any I posted in 2008. It has been viewed 292 times and most of that was from people googling Bowl and Doily Spider webs. Does anybody know why?

I'm not trying to deceive Monthly Scavenger Hunt visitors, but I don't think I've ever seen a more tangled web.
