Hay-On-Wye is kn own as the 'Book Town', specialising in antique and rare editions the town is full of bookshops selling everything from ancient first editions to the latest novels. A great place to browse if you are in any way interested in reading - Also has an impressive castle right in the centre of town.

Night in the city of Manila and a beautiful tabby, very alert and in excellent condition, sitting on top of the park bins.

This stray has had his rabies jabs and neutering, you can tell as the tip of his left ear is missing, done to easily identify which strays have already been seen by the volunteers and means they should be safe to pet.

With his high position on the bins giving him a great view across the park and total lack of fear it reminded me of the old cartoon "Top Cat".

Right in the middle of the city, surrounded by skyscraper office blocks this metropolitan survivor is a true urban king! (In his park..)
