Dave texted me while I was getting my toenails painted.

Favorite Michael Jackson memory: Dave cradling Max in his arms and singing "Heal the World." It was the first time I truly laughed until I cried. So funny.

Be my pilot

And I'll be your navigator

For traveling through these mysterious lands

We can help each other

For better

Or for worse

So do you want to join me

On this roller coaster of an adventure

I can promise the only direction we'll be going is up

Even if this plane goes down

Because if you decide to be my pilot

And I your navigator

Even the worst of days

Will blossom into something beautiful

Time to mix up some colors! I usually start with one color at a time...it's always good to add water continually and use the paint that settles around the top/sides of the container first because it's thin and dries the quickest.

I can't imagine any other entertainer, living or already dead, passing away and making me feel like this.

I can't stop playing in my head, over and over again, one of my earliest memories of walking into my parent's bedroom when I was 5, wearing the glove, the red buckled leather jacket, to sing and dance to his songs. And they weren't playing over a stereo or anything, I just wanted to show my parents that I could be like him... and be COOL like him. Emphasis on cool because that dude, in that time, was THE COOLEST person on the planet. Hands down. No competition. He was IT. And just listening to his music made me feel like a million bucks.

That is the power his songs have. They make ME want to change the world. To forget every problem and just dance. And most importantly, feel like you are cool when the world outside your headphones is telling you that you are not.

I loved Michael Jackson so much that I actually asked my mom if I could change my name to Michael Jackson. Literally. I am not kidding. I remember the car ride vividly.

I remember sitting in my basement playing video games listening to Dangerous for the first time on my Walkman when I was 10. I turned around to see who was pounding on the door during the intro to Black Or White. That listening experience is burned into my brain.

I remember finally finding Bad on LP at Last Vestige in Albany this past winter, so excited I couldn't wait to get back to my turntable to spin it up. Holding that lovely square, 12" x 12" creation that is and will always be my favorite pop album of all time.

I remember playing Moonwalker at the Chucky Cheese in Albany when I was clearly too old to go into a Chucky Cheese.

I remember watching the Bucharest video over and over again, in awe of the power that guy had over the human spirit with music.

His dancing... my god, his dancing.

I remember the Michael Jackson marathons on VH1. Watching Moonwalker in it's entirety every time it came on. Laughing at Joe Pesci and wishing that Michael could just stay in the field with the kids all day and the world would just leave him alone.

I nearly cry every time I listen to Will You Be There... I can only imagine the sob fest that will occur from here on out.

I was looking forward to his comeback with skepticism, but with the hope that he could actually do it. That he was still the great hero that I grew up with. A triumphant man who could stand in one place, not moving an inch, and have hundreds of thousands of people passing out at the mere thought of being in his presence. But I think what I really wanted was another chance to see my childhood idol, up on stage where he belongs. Not in the tabloids where he was exploited for eccentricities brought upon him through growing up in the spotlight, abuse, and being robbed of a childhood.

Unfortunately, I will never get to see that and that makes me very sad. And listening to Sometimes It Snows In April doesn't help much...

Seriously, either it's extremely comfy or it smells really good

My friend said that once you can see your feet through your shoes - it's time to get new shoes. Poo. I like my shoes.

C`mon, he was a massive hit back in the day and who would`ve thunk that he`d end up getting charged as being a child molester? This disc has "Thriller, Beat It, Billy Jean,Wanna Be Starting Something" and more top hits. Back then it looked to me that it would be a good collector`s item but now this guy is nothing but a pariah. A shame really that the man didn`t use more common sense when having his sleepovers! I also have a colored 45 rpm vinyl set from Jackson as well which i`ll dig up another time just for kicks. Purchased August 28,1983

My cat discovered all he had to do was lay on the bird feeder and dinner came to him. That inspired this sketch
