We went to Off the Grid's Picnic at the Presidio for supper. It was a cool evening with a chilly breeze. There were twenty-or-so food trucks and hundreds (if not thousands) of hungry people on the Presidio's Main Parade Ground for the weekly event.

Amidst screeching pig calls below the floorboards, we take in our surroundings...walls papered in the pages of fashion catalogues.
Exhibit: "Off the Grid".
Reception: Friday, July 20 from 7-9pm.
Exhibit Dates: July 12 - August 31, 2018.
Location: Site 2 Community Gallery in the Torpedo Factory, 105 N Union St, Alexandria, VA 22314.
"Off the Grid" is an exhibition featuring the artwork created by Northern Virginia inmates under the volunteer instruction of Kelli Schollard-Sincock (aka Ms. Kelli) of Inspiration Matterz.
