The 2022 GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1’s three electric drive motors within Ultium Drive will yield a combined GM-estimated 1,000 horsepower, and when multiplied through the front and rear drive unit gear ratios, there will be more than 11,500 lb-ft of torque available at the wheels and a 0-60 mph time of approximately 3 seconds.
Darek & I are still in Michigan. I brought him up here to meet his in-laws and see where I grew up.
My nephew Doug and his family had us, Darek's parents & sister and a few others over to his place for dinner. After dinner we were treated to some off-roading. IT WAS A BLAST!!!
This is normally Shasta Lake but after they opened the flood gates and drained Lake Shasta like they do every year, this is now the Mc Cloud River Arm of Lake Shasta. If the sun in the frame, you would see that at the top of that mountain on the left is a little teeny tiny building. That would be the Hirz Mountain Lookout that I went to a few weeks ago and posted the photos here on Flickr. Check them out.
Went along to give support, advice (Hah!) and abuse to some friends taking part in an off road trial. Pete taking the plunge!
