Here she comes! We got the overheating issue fixed and she ran well. The power steering pump and associated hydraulic lines need an overhaul next. Brian created a workable/trail fixed solution, but not what we want long term. It is so nice to be able to visualize where your wheels are - you can see Brian checking position of driver front. And, please don't mind our high-tech radiator overflow system. At least it isn't a beer can!

It may be a small economy hatchback, but this thing tackled the two "rivers" we had to "ford" (pun intended) to get to the trailhead.
offroading. ended up doing a lot of this actually. there is no shoulder on 380 until you get a couple miles out of town, and i didnt feel safe riding on the highway like that, so i pushed through the grass up on the side for at least 2 miles. same on the way back. i had to come back into denton through some back way to avoid busy streets in the dark since i have no lights or reflectors (illegal) and that route took me through places where i had no choice but to ride on the grass. id hate to try doing that on a fixed gear. the gear ratio is easy enough on this bike and the tires can handle it.
Note the new track carved out by illegal off-roaders to bypass the gate intended presumably, to stop off-roaders roaring up the track up the side of the mountain. That worked sell, didn’t it! Predictable.
