The coastal road to Kalados Bay/Kalantos was marked on my map as "dirt road in poor condition" when in fact it is an unfinished dirt track. What should have been a breezy 15 minute ride in flipflops and shorts became an enjoyable but somewhat stressful two hour impromptu lesson in off-road riding. The rented XT600 was well up to the job, and happily no bones were broken along the way.
Shot with Pentax MX-1, this series of photos are from a cross country exploratory ride. Mostly shot handheld, the in camera stabilisation did a wonderful job in low light. Bike in shots is a Merida 29er.
