At Fuerteventura, only one road goes to Cofete. From Morrow Jable this road is driveable for Jeeps only. A big fun and with some awesome viewpoints.
As I said on Thursday, Johnny Thunder and the still nameless Safari Girl were looking for a way to sit side by side and not behind each otther.
I've now changed the Jeep with mudguards from the 200004 Jeep and suspension from the StuntCar 31085 by adding a 30149 cabin - which works astonishingly well. The two are delighted and went cruising in the mud right ahead.
Toy Project Day 2775
This image was captured at the end of a long, cold day. I had given up any hope of finding a composition worth shooting and was ready for home. I took the drone for one last flight and spotted this frozen river from the air. It was worth investigating and I came away with this final image.

Originally I had some narrower tires on here to match the original but I ended up going for the full monster truck spec.
Ventured out in the snow, mildly relieved to have quattro all wheel drive as it was a bit of a hill to get here.
As normal in the UK, a small dropping of snow creates havoc!
Salashka / Салашка, Oekraïne
In a country like Ukraine, you never know where you will end up. Especially if you only have offline maps at your disposal, it can sometimes be an adventure if you are suddenly sent into that side road. The first half hour you drive on a good road (for Ukrainian standards). We drive through remote villages where you literally see only Ladas. The road slowly gets worse, the potholes in the road get deeper. At some point you will arrive on a country/mountain road (see photo) that is probably fine to drive with a Niva or Land Rover, but our Ford Fiesta rental car had a hard time. After many kilometers further you almost want to kiss the asphalt when you have reached the provincial road again. But, that 'shortcut' was worth it!

Shots straight out of my iPhone... this is my 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 Off-Road truck transformed by the Asheville Vehicle Outfitters in NC to overland and rock crawl... I climbed to the summit of Windrock mountain (traversing one trail segment rated difficult). I then drove down to southern FL.. coming back to IL to finalize the sale of my house. Next spring, I’m heading into the wildernesses of Canada and Alaska, taking a 7+ month photography trip (and that’s just the beginning).
