Where I work, there's a woman who I call or email so she can call or email the IT help desk with my computer problem. I'm not kidding. 99% of the time, she never does anything and you have to spend 100 times more effort in bugging her than it would take to just call the help desk yourself.

Pavilion Crossing is a shopping center in Riverview, Florida, conveniently located at the entrance of the Pavilion residential community which features over 500 homes. Pavilion II is a 16-acre site anchored by Publix Supermarket, located on the southwest corner of Falkenburg Road and US Hwy 301. The shopping center will contain a 46,000 sq. ft. Publix, 36,000 sq. ft. of in-line retail and 4 outparcels, one of which will be occupied by Fifth Third Bank. Pavilion Crossing is currently under development, scheduled for completion in early 2011.

The San Jose Redevelopment Agency, in partnership with Biggs Cardosa Associates, a structural engineering firm, completed a project to restore Biggs Cardosa’s historic building to its original design. Built in 1927 as the Leland Cerruti Packard Motor Car dealership, the building now features replications of the original front door, decorative tile and exterior artwork. The Redevelopment Agency provided an $80,000 grant to preserve the building facade.
The Alameda, known as the “Grand Boulevard” is part of the historic El Camino Real and serves as a gateway to Downtown San Jose. Established as a redevelopment project area, the Alameda Neighborhood Business District (NBD) has partnered with the San Jose Redevelopment Agency to complete several improvement projects, including new sidewalks and landscaping, increased parking, and assistance for several new market-rate housing developments. The Alameda has also received a grant from Caltrans for The Alameda: A Plan for “The Beautiful Way”, a vision to reinvigorate a commercial center, encourage multi-modal transportation, and foster economic and residential development.
