I took mine a little late but as I was so engrossed in my work. The only difference between this and the scene at 5 pm is I'm not sat at my desk.

Note the policeman directing the traffic. This was of course before the introduction of traffic lights at the junction.

Front of ABL Depot at Belvedere, Kent. Taken around mid 1970's. The borders and other parts of the depot was maintained by a pensioner ,who was employed by ABL on a part time basis to keep the frontage smart and tidy. All the plants he grew himself at home and brought them in. His name was Ron Wright. The previos garden was called Bert.
This is the offices for the Zinc Corporation at Broken Hill. They were constructed c1936-1938. The designer be they architect or engineer is unknown (unless you know). The front part of the offices contain offices and Board Room but the rear has laboratories and extensive change rooms and showers for the miners. Underneath the Offices are underground mining offices and mine entry via Freeman's Shaft. This was the first underground mine entry at Broken Hill.

This building built in 1909 housed the offices of the Lehigh and Hudson River Railroad. Warwick was the location of the railroads repair shops.This railroad fell onto hard times after the 1950's and eventually was incorporated into Conrail along with several other railroads in 1976 and these offices closed. Conrail itself was eventually divided between the Norfolk Southern and CSX railroads. This building now houses offices
