You are looking at the newest Operations Manager for Provider Services at my organization. I cannot express in words how ecstatic I am, and not because of the status, pay, or even because I’ll be able to work from home all the time. I’m so happy because this is the realization of so many years of hard work that have finally paid off.
I remember when this position was first created many years ago and we learned what it was and the responsibilities associated with it, a fire was spawned inside me. It was one of those pivotal career moments when I knew then and there what I wanted to do with my job. Up until then I was just walking aimlessly through my career path. Every step I have taken since that day has been to get aligned to this position.
Coming in as a business manager four years ago was a step in the path to get to this position. This has been a very rewarding but tiring role- but I learned so very much that really ultimately helped me get this role. Every drop of blood, sweat, and tears have paid off. Hard work pays off. And best of all, dreams do come true!

[I thought I'd post this photo, too.]
It was a pretty feeble attempt, and I knew that when I was doing it. I need less kludged lighting tools. :-)
Technical info: Just a random old vivitar (alas, no manual power control) triggered manually off camera, and then a bit of light painting with some LEDs that I pulled out of, amusingly enough, what used to be a Google-branded pen. :-) Now I soldered some wires to it, and gaffers-taped those wires to a pair of rechargeable AA's (it used to use button cells, I think). (Did I mention it was a kludge?)
I dunno, is it fun? :-)
(More info in the previous photo and on my blog. I succeeded, there. :-)
Painted with LEDs that I hijacked from a Google pen that I got at some conference or somewhere, and Kludged together as a light-painting device. A far cry from what I'd really like, but it'll have to do for now. :-)
Start date: January 7th. Yay. :-) (more details on my blog.)
this is a blast from the past. myself and katty (karthikeya) are seen holding our winter internship offer letters from Star tv (vindia.com). we were starting our thesis under mahesh murthy who would play guide to our work "billboards in the desert" describing the state of website promotion in the indian context in 1999. he would later give me my first break in the real world to work as marketing executives in his start-up.
here is a website that i put-up to celebrate the occasion (hahaha) - micarvi.tripod.com/vindia.htm
this was 17th dec 1999!!!
I cringe at the word "Secretary". Unfortunately, that's the official job description. I preferred to think of myself as the Assistant to the Director of Claim Technology. Not to be confused with Assistant Director of Claim Technology. :)
You must know which points make different with offer letter to appointment letter. simply, the difference between the offer letter and appointment letter is much like water and lemonade.
