Continuing my A-Z of Thame, C is for Church.

St Mary's Church is a very recognisable landmark and an important part of town life. It's also where we got married back in 1999!

Taken last month at Coombe Hill, no rainbows here today (and no imagination either!)

X-ray. Okay so it's a shadow but this was a tough one to do with toys (we don't own a xylophone!)

Continuing my A-Z of Thame, P is for Prebendal.

A house with a very interesting history - www.thamehistory.net/places/Prebendal.htm - it's probably best known as the last house of the late Robin Gibb (of Bee Gees fame).

The orchid was just and this macro shot of its petal is just for you

Continuing my A-Z of Thame, E is for Elms Park.

Gifted to the town in 1949, the park is a popular place with families and hosts the annual 'Music in the Park' event.

Continuing my A-Z of Thame, I is for information. You can get lots of useful information here at the CAB! This building is also familiar to fans of Midsomer Murders as the office of 'Midsomer Life'.

This delightful creature is known as Venom (or so Jamie tells me!)

Continuing my A-Z of Thame, J is for James Figg. One of our many pubs is named after this famous local boxer. More of his story here - www.thamehistory.net/people/JamesFigg.htm

Continuing my A-Z of Thame (my gorgeous hometown), R is for river.

Our River Thame is a tributary of the River Thames and a very important part of our town, it's where the name comes from!

The lady mallard was below me as I stood on the bridge but she was only interested in what was below her in the water!

The penultimate image in my A-Z of Thame, Y is for Youth Memorial.

Continuing my A-Z of Thame, L had to be for Library! A very modern design in a traditional town, this is one of the busiest libraries in the county.
