Long exposure of the Atlantic Ocean along the Maryland coast.

It's your road and your's alone. Others may walk it

with you, but no one can walk it for you.

Caught this smaller fishing boat coming back towards home here at the inlet area in Ocean City, Maryland. End of the day sunlight bathing the area.

This capture was taken hand held ... I did pull out the ND filters and tripod for LE fun with the moving water there in the inlet area. Still need to process them though.

Homes with a view of the sunrise.

Didn't see the for sale sign on the pier until I prepped the photo for posting.

Early evening as the sun set in the west but lit up the clouds in the east made for a pretty view with this long exposure along the Maryland Atlantic shoreline.

Not Maine ... but Maryland :))

While shooting my footsteps along the beach showing my shooting progress (see below in the comments), and waiting for that capture to end, I started to formulate in my head the image of capturing footsteps leaving the ocean ... but I did not want to see the steps going into ...

... and I did not want to clone them out later like I might have to clone out the shadow of my tripod there that keeps drawing my eye ...

... so I decided to walk down the beach about 50 feet so I would be out of the wide angle lens view, and then waited for the waves to recede, run back down the beach where the next wave would "remove" my footprints, then turned and walked back towards the tripod ... if anyone was watching from on the hotel balconies, that had to be wondering what this idiot on the beach was doing ;))

Here is another for the series of the capturing of the bulb capture ... this one from sunrise in Ocean City, Maryland. It was a fabulous morning!

Others from this series can be seen in the set:

Thought it would be best to show these shots side by side. The shot to the left side is the one being taken by the camera that is shown on the right side photo.

Both captures were several minutes long in this early morning light along the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. It was actually pretty nice to be able to stand and just take in the view for a few minutes while I scoped out the area to decide what to shoot next there.
