White Haven Beach from Hill Inlet: shot from Hill Inlet overlooking Whitehaven Beach. [Logitech Product Tester.]
I went to the beach again today, this time loaded with a color film.. because I want to get this film roll processed and digitalized today. I usually do this with black and white film.. but I just don't have the time to process black and white film anytime soon.
there was very few people in the beach at around ten am, I walked around taking pictures mostly of the water and I came across these boys playing on the water, took a picture, soon I had exposed one roll of film, and then I rewound it and loaded it again and continued shooting.. and this happened.
This whole set started when I shot with an old camera whose film advance button did not work properly, so a lot of pictures got over lapped.. I liked and have been doing this in regular slr for some time..
recently my friend lorene suggested that we do something similar.. but more ambitious.. I am excited about that project.
Wanted to try something different, so I took this shot with my 18-55m kit lens, perpendicular to the setting sun. No filters.

Amongst all the incessant Olympics, royalty and shite weather stories, sadly I didn't see anything about this year's World Oceans Day that took place on Friday. Fortunately Kim had remembered! We loves the ocean.

Sunrise in Acadia National Park. After the sun broke the horizon, it was only out for a few seconds then quickly was behind clouds. The lighting that followed was very nice and peaceful. Sat back and took different shots as I soaked in the morning light along the coast.
