The beach shelter, once again, from another angle.

When the shelters first went up people kept walking into the perspex sides, so they stuck a white line in the middle.

As I see it, this couple could be reaching journeys end or starting out as they cross the line. The reflection also looks back, or could it be to the future for the walking couple, and the view behind them is their past?

My mind is all over the place at the moment! I had to put my Mum into permanent care 3 weeks ago, and now, when my Dad is discharged from hospital on Monday, he will also go into care. Although only for 2 weeks, whilst I take a well needed holiday. Yes I feel like a dirty rat, abandoning him in a care home, but if I don't have a break, it'll be me they cart off to the funny farm.

Bovendien sluiten de sporen ook nog niet zo goed aan......

Members of the Class of 2025 complete the First Year Orientation Program obstacle course at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario, on September 17, 2021.

The obstacle course is an annual tradition at RMC to mark the entry of the first-year class in to Cadet Wing. It requires the newest officer cadets of the college to work as teams to overcome 12 challenges over a two-hour, 2.5-kilometre course across the historic peninsula on the shores of Lake Ontario. It is a course designed to test them physically and mentally, and prove their individual leadership qualities, and their cohesion as a team.
