London Central Volvo Olympian L261 [2 CLT] stands in Gateway store delivery area off Jeffrey Street, Gillingham on Medway Express service NX1 from Trafalgar Square.
At the time this photograph was taken, service NX1 operated LIMITED STOP from Victoria to Gillingham via Westminster, Trafalgar Square, New Cross, Welling Corner, Bexleyheath, Crayford, Dartford, Greenhithe, Swanscombe, Northfleet, Gravesend, Chalk, Higham, Strood, Rochester and Chatham.
The return journeys operated as the outward journeys from Gillingham to Strood then NON-STOP to Bexley and then NON-STOP to Trafalgar Square or New Cross Gate.
Service NX1 operated 19/20 October 1990 until 2/3 October 1993.

As stated above, I found the bus in the Gateway store delivery area off Jeffrey Street, Gillingham, but you would have to search the area to find where the driver stopped for his short rest.
