Defeat Administration's Ploy of Divide and Rule ! Defend United Student Movement ! .
Withdraw Suspensions of ALL students ! Scrap Proctorial Enquiry ! Defend Minimum Wages for Workers in JNU! .
We condemn the move of the JNU Administration to selectively withdraw suspensions of 6out of 9students. It is important for the student community to rebuffsuch attempts to divide the student movement. In response to the Proctor's Office Ordertoday informing thatthe suspension of6ofthe 9suspended students is being withdrawn while continuing with the Proctorial Enquiry, the JNUSU Vice President and General Secretary submitted aletter demanding that suspensions against a//students be immediately withdrawn. The letter reiterated that the JNUSU leadership is collectively responsible for protests led by it,and individuals should not be penalised for participating in such protests.Reminding thatthe JNUSU Council has expressed regret on behalfofthe student community,we strongly urged the JNU Administration to withdrawthe suspensions against all nine students immediately and to scrap the Proctorial Enquiry, which is neither necessary nor ethical. We appeal to the student community to remain firm and united in the face ofattempts to confuse and divide it. Let us remember that: The protest on February 19 was led by the elected JNUSU leadership, which musttake full responsibility for all aspects ofthe protest. .
It isneither possible norjust forthe JNUSU to blame individual students for some actions of February 19, during aprotest led by it. .
If JNUSU office bearers and councillors depose witness in the Proctorial Enquiry, against individual studentsforacts that were .

committed in their presence and thus undertheir leadership,it would be an unacceptable breach offaith between the JNUSU and the .
students itrepresents. Weappeal to the student community to participate in large numbers inthe UGBMtomorrow to send astrong message to the Administration that the students stand united against the Administrative crackdown, that the student movement will not be withdrawn with apartial withdrawal of suspensions and continued witch-hunt of Proctorial Enquiry; that students will not give up the struggle to ensure .
legal minimum wages ofworkers on JNU campus. .
We call upon students todefend the institution of UGBM against unconstitutional attempts to scuttle it, against undemocratic misuse ofthe Chair to curb students' right to speak and place resolutions at the UGBM; to ensure that pro-Administration,anti-student forces are not allowed to hijack the student movement; to stand united and form for workers' rights and against Administrative crackdown! We call upon students to turn up at tomorrow's UGBM in large numbers! .
