Prototype built last weekend. I threw a backpack into the cargo box to make it look like we're going camping with this bike, but I think the photo would've looked better with the box empty.
The 60 watt photovoltaic array on top of the cargo lid provides enough power to run the electric assist at about 8 MPH on level ground all day in full sun. The intended use is as a range extender for the battery, which provides 20+ miles of electric assist at about 20 MPH without the solar charging.
