A place for information searching, for reading, for self learning, for connecting, for socialising, as well as for pleasure. The outside looks much the same since the 1970's when this was taken (although the trees have grown) - but the inside is completely different!

Notes: In the lead-up to HSC exams, Blue Mountains Library launched the ‘Brain Train’ at Springwood and Katoomba branches to support the growing number of student study visitors. Operated by library staff, the Brain Train delivered snacks and drinks directly to study desks, helping students stay focused and feel supported. More than just refreshments, the initiative fostered a sense of community and encouragement during a high-pressure time.
