Built for the London Midland and Scottish Railway at their Horwich works in June 1926, 13000 is seen here at the buffer stops in the secondary hall at the National Railway Museum York.
10th August 2023 and a rare appearance on the turntable for Deltic class D9002 Kings own Yorkshire light Infantry, or KOYLI as its known for short. There was a need for a short re shuffle in the museum which resulted in the Deltic being shown on the turntable

A lot has changed since this Picture was taken forty ish years ago, tree growth has increased and changed the view, the loco is in the NRM in a different form and the lineside telegraph poles and wires are no more

With a family trip to York I had some spare time so popped into the National Railway Museum at York. With it not being to busy and some patient waiting managed to get this photo showing the present display as of 15th July 2022
LSWR Drummond 'M7' Class 0-4-4T No 245 (BR 30245) on display in the Station Hall at the NRM York.
No 254 was built at Nine Elms in 1897 in a class of 105 locomotives. Withdrawn in 1962 after a working life of 65 years.
28.11.2019. LMS Stanier Class 5MT 4-6-0 No 44871 stands in the yard at the NRM having arrived from Norwich with 'The York Yuletide Express'
The loco was serviced, watered and coaled here before being turned for the return run.

15.6.2017. LMS Stanier Jubilee (6P) Class 4-6-0 No 45699 'Galatea' is prepared for duty in the yard at the NRM.
Behind the loco and just out of sight were LNER Gresley Pacifics A4 4-6-2 No 60009 'Union of South Africa' and A3 4-6-2 No 60103 'Flying Scotsman'.
