The Pier Head Building, Cardiff Bay, S.Wales, U.k,
Just for fun.....with apologies to those who won't like it,
When you read a sign that says "No Through Road" you tend not to go down it ........ unless you are called Trev & Jus & nosy!
The scenery down the "NTR" was breathtaking and continued its beauty for 30 mins, by this time we were questioning if the "NTR" was really a "NTR" ........... 40 mins later we came to a farm and realised YEP it was a "NTR". So we turned around and this is a shot taken as we drove back to the start!
Sunday morning walk at Marsworth.
The morning after torrential rains.
I know that modern road signs are designed to have more impact (not a good choice of word for a road sign, I admit). The old signs are so much nicer though. Think how much better this would look in cast iron with a red triangle on a black and white pole and a black and white plaque reading “NO THROUGH ROAD”. I guess that since the 60s people have less and less time to read.
This is the opposite corner to the one featured four shots previously.
I love those long chimney pots, of which only one is original.
Note the old telephone line bracket near the top of the corner wall.
Having a flat roof you would think they would hide that hideous satellite dish. All the other aerials are redundant since the event of digital transmissions.

Driving through Wareham to Arne yesterday I spotted a small roadsign for "Melancholy Lane". Too good an opportunity to miss. maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=M...
Olympus XA3 + Olympus XA3 + Kodak Ektachrome 64T + Cross Processing + Double Exposure.
Double Exposure Collaboration with the very lovely ξαβλ.
To be more specific, a film AND camera swap this time:
ξαβλ shot the first roll through his Olympus XA3 whilst in St Ives, Cornwall. When the roll was finished, he rewound the film back to the beginning and handed the camera (including the film) to me. I shot the roll through again in London and a few at the end, in Bristol. We did not collaborate regarding what specifically we might be shooting.
Parked opposite the Gardener's Inn in semi-rural Cossall, AOT 3-axle Volvo coach M10AOT stops for pupils making the morning journey to Kimberley High School in Nottinghamshire.

Spent a pleasant few minutes on a bench, whilst waiting for my other half, by seeing how many motorists flouted the NO ENTRY signs half way down......
