i've been living in flip flops for easily the past 3 months.
my toes hate the constriction of socks after the summer months of cotton freedom.
... but unless i move back to the desert, socks and closed toed shoes are inevitable.

Not what I wanted for a manip, but eh, at least it IS one. I could fret with it for a few more hours, but I don't really want to. It's far more effort than lately, so at least that's something. ;-)
I did this quickly, too quickly in fact...I had some cool ideas in my head, like skeleton luggage and so forth...se la vie though...we do what we do.
Anyways.
Yeah. I'm gonna go clean some more and think about dinner.

This could become an urban fable: The Hipster and the Baby Crow. A baby crow was in the middle of the street and this kind young man guided it to the side of the road without touching it. One of the crow's parents was watching from a distance. Crows are said to have excellent memories and even remember faces. Maybe this baby crow will grow up and have a chance to repay this kindness. Perhaps the crow might have the opportunity to save the kind young man's life in return. At the very least the crow could bring him some socks -- I don't think that's asking too much.

This location is probably the best location ever, so when i drove past it today i had to do another self portrait.
I really really want to set up a shoot here on a day like today where there was still mist.
Just portraits of people here would look pretty epic i think, theres never anyone around tho i wish there was a dog walker or someone in a field or something i could have got to come over.

Off to a picnik (or is it picnic?) With rugrats and slip & slides...hopefully watermelon and bbq too! :) Good friends, lawn chairs and bug spray. Were actually going to have a riding lawn mower race too...wow. See what fun you get to have in your "old" age :P Now that I'm 30 it's only just begun!
