Ilfracombe Harbour, Low Tide

On a damp, grey, miserable morning, I thought I would look back once more to a lovely seaside holiday in North Devon. I kept being called back to Ilfracombe Harbour - it is such a lively and colourful place whether it is high tide or low. So much to see and do.

A 'spare' gander found the ducklings and seems to have appointed himself their guardian! Here he is 'seeing off' a cockerel.

Precursors of spring - the valley from Hartland Abbey to the coast was carpeted in snowdrops, so difficult to capture!
