This bronze, cylindrical sculpture on First Street in downtown Fort Myers had the Latin names of all Florida's flowers cut into it. On the front side, the words appeared normal. On the back side they were reversed, mirror-images of the ones in front. But when the words were lit from within and projected outward, the "backward" Latin appeared "normal" on the sidewalk while the "normal" Latin appeared "backward." (Got that?)
By the way, sorry for the blur but this was a long (half a second), handheld exposure and digital cameras didn't have anti-shake features back then.
