Just so everyone knows, I've turned down the treatment. I'm 74 and live by myself in the country. I just couldn't see doing that to my body when I may not have that much time left anyway. Tomorrow I have a meeting with a surgeon to talk about removing the cancer. I'll probably still have some down time but I'm more comfortable with the possibilities and the outcome.

I saw this laundry and also the background on the Italian Riviera and made a minimalist study out of it. I published the image on Instagram, where it was one of the most successful posts I ever published. Unfortunately, Instagram suspended my account after I experimented with a follower tracking app. Now the work shall live on here.

…I’m trying to take your photo!
On a recent visit to Hardwick park, we spotted the geese with their adorable babies, but by the time cameras were out, the rain had started and the goslings at this point were hiding under the wing of Mum, who was having a rest. We noticed every couple of minutes that they kept bopping their little heads out, so we kept trying to get a clear shot of this, but they were so fast diving back for cover it was impossible to focus on them in time. It reminded me of the arcade game wac-a-mole, except we weren’t trying to bop them with a mallet. Just had to share this one, despite not getting it focussed, it’s too cute. 😂
Happy Thursday ❤️
