I went to a traditional home made noodles in Yogyakarta last week. The two workers at the previous photo were mixing the tapioca flour, as the noodles ingredients in a big grinder and the grinder were move and rotate by a cow.

Here is my attempt at a food picture. I wanted to something with eggs, since I have chickens and I LOVE the gift they give everyday! If you zoom in you will see spots on the yolk. This simply means that this particular egg was fertilized....my rooster is doing his job. It does not mean the egg would have hatched, since no girls are sitting on eggs.....so all is good! :-)

Today is one of those days, I have a sick girlie, my puppy has had a couple of accidents and I can't get anything done. My daughter was finally feeling a bit better and just wanted a can of chicken noodle soup, she didn't want to wait for homemade. I took a few minutes to practice photography while she ate. Today is really a bust for my goals but glad I could be here to comfort my daughter.

Die Nudelsuppe besteht in der einfachen Variante aus einer Bouillon, bei der verschiedene Nudelsorten zugefügt oder auch mitgekocht werden, ergänzt durch Petersilie oder Schnittlauch und eventuell Eierstich. Ich habe zusätzlich noch eine Wurst reingeschnitten.
The simple version of the noodle soup consists of a bouillon to which different types of noodles are added or also cooked, supplemented with parsley or chives and possibly egg custard. I also added a sausage.
