UNITED KINGDOM, Manchester 28 August 2022: Revellers party the night away on Sunday 28th August as the third day of Manchester Pride kicks off in Manchester's Gay Village. Thousands of people are expected to flood into Manchester this weekend. Manchester pride has been an annual event since 1985 starting as a protest to change laws and views of people who were anti-LGBT, now the event has transformed into a huge party with some opposing the ticketing/corporatisation of an event which "should be" a protest. Well! What a busy time of it I've had over the last couple of months.
Being a Midsumma Photographer was both a hoot and an honour, but meant long hours whilst also working on my multidisciplinary series during my Yarra Sculpture Gallery Summer Residency!
