You ask me, this dress, on me, is tending towards the slightly ridiculous. Too short, too frilly maybe (it's got this fab tulle petticoat, so it flares).
But you know what, fuck it, I don't care. It's comfortable and I feel fab in it. Not that I would probably ever wear it out in public. Though you never know.

In order to celebrate Pride, and give something to the LGBT community (however small that something might be), I decided to create a series of abstract images featuring the colors of various LGBT pride flags.

My apologies for letting my Flickr account be a non-priority for so long. I had hoped at the beginning of the month to upload images that I took as a contracted event photographer over our Summer when so-called Australia now celebrates Pride Month in full (we acknowledge the roots of Pride starting in June, but because our weather is a bit sh!te during the month - Winter - we now have our major Festival Jan-Feb). However, my work schedule has been a bit hectic.
Anywho, I thought I'd upload something a little different for Pride Month - BW's. These were all taken 21st Jan 2024 at the Midsumma Festival Carnival - a big open day and night of music, food, entertainment, and drinking in the sun (and occasionally rain) - in Alexandra Gardens here in Naarm (so-called Melbourne), on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.
