EXPLORED NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
hi everyone! she is elisabetta and everytime i take photos of her something exciting comes from my inside. a single glance of hers is able to communicate everything she is going through. i make the most beautiful trips just sinking into her eyes.
Moar giddy for the blissful bokeh breakfast / brunch that is blissfully unsad bokeh friday this week.
I was looking for something sad because after all, it is supposed to be sad bokeh friday and I am kinda half in charge of it. But the sad just isn't cutting it today - it's more like blissful bokeh friday. So as a special one-day only get-it-while-you-can all-you-can-nom-buffet, we shall kick out the sad and big up the bliss. A blissful bokeh buffet for your eyes. Also? Any other bits.
Join us at blissfully unsad bokeh friday. And the sad shots? They're invited too.

Do not fear. There will be bamboo. Much more bambooery will come.
I had great plans for this one when it was a couple of inches wide on the lcd. Now I have not-so-great plans for it. This? Still worth it.
Yesterday it was underwater, apparently on Pluto. Today it is I don't know where. It is also hungry, possibly as a result of being lost. As a young example of its species, it knows no fear (well sure, except The Pruning). Be grateful he (is it a he? I'm not going any closer to find out) is looking the other way.
Crunchy and cheese-y with a nice spicy kick!
My current favorite potato chip... (Nomnomnomnomnom)
Another "no frills" chalkboard: I had only an hour to do the board. I wanted to have more fun with it, but I'm kind of pleased how good it looks on the floor.

On a sunny day back in August, I was out in the yard feeding Billy. He was especially friendly that day, returning again and again for almonds. I decided I would try and pet him while he gobbled up the almonds, and he seemed quite receptive to it. Getting a bit more brazen, I put my thumb and forefinger on either side of his hind quarters and gave him a little wiggle. Again, he didn't bat an eye. That's when it occurred to me that I could probably put an action figure on his back without him fleeing.
I ran back in the house and grabbed an old Scout Trooper figure, which was preposed to sit on a Speeder Bike. (Initially, I thought this would be a better choice because of the wider leg spread.) When I returned to the backyard, I set some almonds in the grass and called Billy. He bounded towards me from under the tool shed and immediately started inhaling the almonds. I cautiously slipped the action figure on to his back...
He couldn't have cared less, continuing to collect the almonds as though this was all very normal and expected. The only flaw in my plan was that the action figure would tumble off his back as soon as he moved.
Aside from that frustration (which I would later remedy with a thin thread to hold the figure upright) the concept had clearly worked, and I began planning for a second photoshoot. :D
A poorly drawn Terminator bee with armageddon device-sized stinger. My Botany notes were a little silly today. I also wrote "nomnomnomnomnom" under a picture of a hummingbird with its head fully engulfed in a flower.
camera still broken
My weekend of sugar, sugar, and nothing but sugar continues with the best ice cream sandwich I've ever had the pleasure to melt halfway down my arm. I cannot even remember how many times I've had Coolhaus now, but this is probably my favorite, with the black pepper cabernet one I had a few months ago running a close second.
This is ricotta and sour cherry ice cream (HEAVEN) on lemon rosemary (with lemon zest) cookies. Foodgasm.
...um, I also bought a pint of the vegan horchata.

Definitely a less generous selection than you'd get in California, but tasty nonetheless.
As Sunny had spent so long on the journey over the Atlantic that he missed the building of the gingerbread castle Wage had saved some gingerbread cookies specially for him.

Nomnomnom, I'm as packed as can be! I still have stuff I need to put in after I use it tomorrow morning, as in contact case, glasses, phone charger, blahblahblah. I hope I don't forget any of that, but I have a checklist! I'm such an overpacker, but it all still fits. I went to Target to get some last minute stuff. That's about all I've done today. I think watched (500) Days of Summer, which is a very great movie :) And now I'm going back into town for stuff I forgot. Woo, I'm excited!
Easter fun at McGee Salvage. It's like Disneyland for Doggies--but while they're little, they're awfully fast, and good at hiding too. They gave my mutts a good run for their money, and no critters were mussed up in the making of this photo.
today's been just a boring sunday- slept 'till noon-ish, ate some food (this!), did my homework, and then uploaded this
