This is the face of a woman who's had her second doctor's appointment of the week cancelled. The next available appointment is a week away. I'm so sad and frustrated right now. (I also feel sorry that the doctor is sick, but let's just say this isn't the first time I've had to reschedule appointment after appointment.) (This is the fourth time in the last 2.5 years.) (I know, right? I'd switch, but she's incredibly nice and friendly.) (When she's there.) (Heh. Oof.)
Also, my hair is long enough to put in a ponytail. So there's that, I guess.
I look a mess, but I found a temporary tattoo at the bottom of my pop-tart box. Taken on my webcam, of course.

I essentially feel like this project is useless for me right now. There's a wall I can't break through.. Not a creativity block, although there certainly is that. There's just all kinds of crap happening in my life right now, and I'm not comfortable using any of it. I'm not comfortable expressing anything, even when I try, my face just ends up as this totally blank mask. I'm not even comfortable in my own skin.
The walls are up too high, and I wouldn't know how to let you in if I wanted to.

I have tired eyes. Because of this, I like to wear a small amount of make-up to conceal the lack of sleep; it makes me appear slightly more vibrant in my pale skin. I enjoy a natural look so a minimal amount (of make-up) is all that I need.

I took a bunch of artsy and ridiculous pictures today, but decided to go with something simple and straightforward and honest.
I'm exhausted. This weekend has kicked my butt; lots of stress and weird dreams and it's just been crazy and intense.

I've decided to do a 365 self portraits project... I don't know how long I'll last but the reason I'm doing it is to improve my self confidence because I actually have none nowadays...
I'm not going to be posting all of my project on here, only the ones I really like. However, ALL of them will be going on my blog (I may be setting up another tonight) :)
It's quite odd how I did this photo where I was so self confident, and now I'm the complete opposite. Even though I have the loveliest boyfriend in the whole wide world who constantly tells me how lovely I am :s I have a stubborn mind I guess... it's hard to change my opinion on something. :)
