For the last four days I have been stuck in meetings (yes over the weekend) and then in my office. The only sun I saw is passing. This morning it was on my commute from my bedroom to my home office to teach.
Thank goodness the students can't see me as I have no makeup on and didn't even brush my hair. So this is what you get... me!
This should catch me up on all the photos that I didn't get posted over the weekend because of above mentioned meetings.

Winter Solstice - The shortest day of the year. At least we had some sun today. It was not fun driving on the country roads today. Lots of blowing snow, white-outs and drfting. It was also about 30 below windchills. I was happy to get home and wrap the last present I had to do, and just curl up in a blanket. I watched Pride and Prejudice with my mom and made Cream of Wheat with raisins, blueberries and maple syrup for dinner.

on a 45-minute shoot in the bitter cold... I found a bus shelter, and escaped the wind. got this shot! straight off the camera =)

No makeup AND no photoshop. Well, I adjusted levels, because the picture is so overexposed, but that's it. Normally I photoshop the heck out of my skin for general insecurities, but.. well, yay overexposure. I'd just finished taking eleventy-billion pictures for my "Homelife" set, mostly of my bed (God I love my bed) and decided to lay down for a little bit with the window open. It's magic outside today. The one thing I'll miss about Montgomery when I move back to the midwest-- tiny thin tanktops in early March and the cool breeze on your skin. Silly snow.
