Day 205 Year 2 Okay, here I am at 3am on a Happy Sunday

I'm not making a funny face because, quite honestly, there are three funny faces already in the photo and all the other snaps I took looked like crap. Sorry, that's just how it goes sometimes.
As for things you may not know about me ...well, two years ago I would not have been caught dead posting a photo of myself dressed like this on line or anywhere else for that matter. How far I have come....or fallen, depending on your perspective. Let your freak flag fly I say.
Congrats to =Tom= on his last day of 365. Cheers to you for an astounding year.
Testimonials went out to three great fuggers.
Oh and one more thing about me to make =Tom= laugh. Many years ago I went on the single worst blind date ever. It was so hideous it was the only one I would ever go on in my life. When I told him I would be going to UCONN (University of Connecticut) in the fall he said, "Uh, isn't it like really, really cold there?"
to which I replied:
"Um dude, I said UCONN not the Yukon" o_O
What makes that stupid is the fact that we lived in CT.
Oh Lordy I'm #40 in Explore. Thanks. Hope my mom doesn't see me in my knickers now. :)
All your children are sick and hopeless.
They are coughing, bleeding. Bruised and beaten. They are hurting and you can't see. Wrap them up tight, hold them close until their hearts slow down and their breathing stops. Sing to them and name their fingers. They will plug their ears and bite their tongues. Eyes torn apart and bodies flailing. They run at night and no one hears. Their bones slammed against the pavement, no longer audible.
All your children are disappearing.
All your children are confused and terrified.
All your children are dying.
Edit: Explored. Thanks everyone.
Another shot of Sarah checking out the playground at her old elementary school. I have no real explanation for what she was doing in this shot. It kind of looks like she was checking for people just before she goes to flash me. But trust me; Oklahoma is no place for hijinks like that. They had a hard enough time with my hair!
I'm not a hair person. To me, it's just hair. I cut it myself, then it grows and I cut it again. It's just how I like to exist in the world. But I can understand it becoming a challenge for people who have their hair professionally cut and colored in salons or barber shops every few weeks.
For me though, during this period of isolation, my hair ends up in a pile on top of my head like a falling fountain of follicles, a messy mane mountain or a carelessly coiffed clump. And that's just fine with me. ;)

I was like a walking zombie today and I just remembered about an hour ago that I needed to do my weekly selfie. I couldn't be bothered to muster more than this. Just too tired. But, the cause of the exhaustion is good - I had an absolutely fantastic Valentine's Boudoir Sessions event yesterday. Five clients in one day, killer location, awesome hair & makeup, and sensational results. So, while I may feel like the walking dead, I'm simultaneously energized and enjoying having so much new beautiful work to edit. There are definitely challenges inherent in owning your own business, but damn, I love my job.
shot about a dozen frames of this model before we actually started the production. so this is all natural - no makeup, sunset light in the studio, and zero retouching. as is.

You should have seen her glow when we stopped for ice-cream on the way home from an all-day shopping trip. On a technical note, I probably would have junked this, and I even briefly took it into photoshop to try and fix, but instead I posed it pretty much as is. It is just a great example of the high-quality Panasonic auto setting on my old camera. Suitable for framing.
