2005 Kostrzyn nad Odrą, Poland. I have took this picture on "Przystanek Woodstock" the biggest rock music open air festival in my country. It was 10 years ago, maybe it is not long time but how big changes become. No smartphones and mobile internet era (I had Nokia3310 in my pocket). Who today still use the phone booths?

A brilliant design, I only stopped using this after reluctantly yielding to a bluetooth hands free equipped device.

a Sony CRVDisc - double-sided 12" Laserdisc cartridge. These were write once, read many - the BBC generally used them for playing out idents and other bits of presentation, since they were random access and they didn't have to worry about the tape wearing out.
This one didn't have anything particularly exciting on it - just some bits of news graphics, and a very short clip of David Dimbleby in the old Millbank newsroom studio.

My favourite mobile telephone of all time the Nokia 3310 from my museum of items I no longer use but am reluctant to part with compared to my latest phone, a Samsung Galaxy S10+ smartphone.
As you can see cellphone/mobile telephone design and functionality has come a long way in the last 20 years.
My Nokia 3310 mobile phone was in service from late 2000 through to mid 2007 and I only stopped using it after reluctantly yielding to a bluetooth hands free equipped device.
Alas the 3310 no longer switches on or charges although all it would take to recommission would be to pop off the rear cover and insert a new battery. Something I wouldn't be able to do with the Samsung.
The S10+ replaced a S8+ a while back and to be honest it's not that much different in terms of features and not really worth the upgrade if you don't need to.
I intended to go a little retro but, alas, the Nokia 3310 I ordered over the Internet werkt niet. Sent it back but it would have been nice... until I needed a music player, camera and dictaphone. I miss my HTC.
