The light was exceptional early this morning and being a Sunday, there were no cars parked in front.

Actually I decided to, with a few of my friends( including Mecha Monkey), to go and watch the local (gay)Pride parade.

While this picture may seem kinda empty it was the only one I got, but as I was taking this a torrent of a couple thousand people were swarming into the parking lot!

To be able to capture the feel of the neighborhood. There is something unique about every neighborhood in New York City and experiencing that is part of capturing the spirit of place.
