Mardea was having a hard time standing up at 17 days old, when she was just clinging to life. She is still on a roller-coaster of health, but has shown several signs of strength.

This is the first image of a series that I'm working on which shows different negative aspects of religion in modern society.
This image is portrays how religion is an outdated philosophy that we no longer need since science has answered many of the questions which once left us in quandary.
I used the lit inscense to resemble the smoke that would be on the candle but isn't, this is to show how even when the church is proved wrong by science it always looks for an even less logical alternative to mask the fact that their beliefs just don't work.
So, long story short, I've been looking for more Videogame characters/villains to make, somehow I discovered this guy. pretty simple, I slightly modified a Star Wars Advent Calendar head (I don't remember the name of that guy), and even though the design on his suit is slightly off colored I still like how he looks overall. I'm definitely planning on making more Bioshock characters, I'm still trying to figure out Big Daddy, I'm planning on making him brick built, but I'm not entirely sure about some of the pieces to use.

I had to re-cut a lot of the layers for this one after a flood in my studio last year. Really pleased to have got this one painted. : )

The leading lines in Aberdeen Centre shopping mall are guiding you to the exit door.
In the world of atheist, there is no exit door. In the godless world, there is no other world. If you have done any evils or wrong-doings, there will be no judgment and you will not be sent to heaven or hell in the after world. You will have to carry the burden of the unethical consequences until the end of your life. In the secular view of world, there is no exit.
I have to admit that I am an atheist.
My picture is inspired by the book “Belief or Non-belief: A Confrontation” by my favorite Italian philosophy writer Umberto Eco and Cardinal Martini. It is a dialogue between the secular and religious world views.
I have not read the book yet but I am going to get one. It will be an interesting read.

It’s been a tough year all round. George here used to be like you and I until the pandemic crept up on us. Now he lives by different rules. He’d had enough of the 5g covid pigeons, maskers, vaxxers, people who didn’t like electro swing and, most importantly, people who didn’t believe in the new messiah Donald J Trump. After that it was all too easy for George to leave society behind.
So he decided to prepare for the future he knew was coming. George found a bit of land in the most remote part of the planet possible. He didn’t pick Hawaii or New Zealand though as he thought Bill Gates might have a compound there like all the other tech CEO’s. He picked the Pitcairn Islands as they were giving away free land to entice new community members (he should probably have looked into why) and he needed as much money as possible to build the treehouse he had planned so he could live in solitude amongst nature. Now he sits alone in his treehouse amongst the birds. No wi-fi - No gods - No masters. Although he did wish he’d brought a bit more food with him as he only had one Chewit left...

NoGoD has been active in the Japanese music scene (and the European/international as well) for nearly 10 years.
Formed by frontman Dancho in 2005, and have performed with the same members since 2006. They have been active internationally in Asia since 2010, and are now ready to conquer Europe in the same way: through their music.
Their core message that “if a person believes in one core element, said element can become their own personal God. The band is striving to become just that.” NoGoD wants to be your God (in the sense of a core element).
A few other things the band is famous for are guitarist Kyrie’s special 7 string guitar technique, something a lot of guitarists strive to aspire to themselves.
And vocalist Dancho’s comical interaction with the audience when on stage, adding to the fun of the performance as well as displaying their love for lives and music.
Theological and philosophical principles behind the band aside they are of course most famous for their shironuri make-up, visual kei, looks and of course their music itself!
Whilst the band is known for it’s heavy (metal) style sounds, that remain quite catchy to the listener’s ear.
To achieve their own particular style they weaved in influences from J-rock, J-pop and of course the genre they are best known for: metal.
What is certain is that this band offers musical attractions to fans of many different genres, not just the visual kei or metal ones. They’re a great band that genuinely wants to build a solid fan base on the European market with their music and excellent instrumental technique.
So if you are visiting Japan Expo on Saturday the 5th or Sunday the 6th of July, make sure to check out NoGoD on their stage!
The times are not out yet, but keep your eye on the program so you don’t miss them!
