Don't be a faker!
Heavenly Father, Please protect us from false teachers, false followers of Christ and false "friends". Help us to have discernment and help us to guard our hearts. I know that Jesus faced all these and more and as imperfect followers it really hurts sometimes. It gets hard to continually put ourselves out there for others as friends, only to end up used and sometimes abused. Regarding teachers help us to quickly see through the lens of Your Word the falsehood as You instruct us to test the spirits in all things and to be on the alert as the evil is like a lion looking for someone to devour! Help us to pray against all these things so that we do not become preyed upon! Help us to uphold and rightly teach Your Word. Help us to also be faithful servants and loyal, true and faithful friends to those You place in our lives and in turn, may we have and find loyal, true and faithful friends in return. Help us to not be fake ourselves but honest and true. Help us to continually seek You and Your Holy Spirit's guidance in all these things. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
