Steve says: Possibly taken on top of Farr's hill, looking west to northwest. Just a little to blurry to see verifiable landmarks like railroad and brook. See docs.unh.edu/VT/rand57nw.jpg for 1957 map
John says: The mountains in the far distance look too big and spiky to me for Vermont. I tried using Google Earth Pro to match the views looking to the south, and I couldn't match either the nearby hills and valleys or the big mountains on the horizon.
