In downtown San Diego, California, on July 1st, 2024, was a view of the east side of the intersection of Front Street and West Cedar Street. There was the off-ramp from Interstate 5 to 2nd Avenue; and the "Four Points by Sheraton San Diego Downtown Little Italy."

Per an article in the San Diego Union-Tribune, the hotel was built in 1970 as a Holiday Inn, and changed its name in 2012 ("Re-branding and renovation are planned for Holiday Inn," May 17, 2012).

Day 88 of 365: "No Turning Back"

Don't worry, some friends of mine have shown me the right way. I don't need to go back.

(Yes, this is being posted a day late - there just wasn't time!)

Is the "reminder" necessary ?

An intersection in Laguna Beach, California. Laguna Beach is such a great place!

My blog entry about my visit to Laguna Beach is here.

I can't believe it's actually a sign.

No turning back now. 151 of 156 towers done. 97% gets an A for the day.

We thought this movement was a good sign.

A street in London, with traffic signals in quick succession to the side, a car right in front. One can see 3 traffic signals, as well as a house and trees to the right side of the road.

Today Rita and I walked the bridge, it was exquisite, the weather, the view, the good company, I loved it.

Another remnants of the demolished building...ground zero :)

It was supposed to detour in to the LCC there, then come back out and make a left, to continue on it's way to Pad 39A to our right.

Yes it's a cloud, but a cloud of smoke. And I'm nowhere near the light, I was wayyy in the back right before the light turned green, I just zoomed in a bunch.

Yay! the AstroVan kept going the right direction, towards the launch pad!
