The first adaptation of the novel “Dr. No” by Ian Fleming was filmed in 1962 on the island of New Providence, in the Bahamas. The film starred Sean Connery as the famous James Bond character. The scene where Bond arrives at the airport on the island was filmed in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. Moonfleet Beach was the filming location for Bond's bathing scene with Honey Ryder. The final scene was filmed at the Blue Lagoon on Grand Bahama Island. New Providence and Grand Bahama are the islands where the movie Dr No was filmed.

La première adaptation du roman « Dr. No » de Ian Fleming a été tournée en 1962 sur l'île de New Providence, aux Bahamas. The Fairy Glen on the Isle of Skye sits above Uig, a quirang-like landslip in miniature.

The Fairy Glen has no real legends or stories involving fairies, that can be traced

Its been given the nickname, as the location is unusual.

For some time now visitors have started to create rock spirals on the ground. Walking the spiral and leaving an offering (a coin) for the fairies, for good luck.

These have been removed repeatedly by locals, in an attempt to keep the Glen in it's natural state.

CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK

I saw her out the corner of my eye. I moved 5 ft. from the edge. I snapped off about 5 quick shots. She leaned back and pushed up after about 10 seconds. Definitely could have been steadier and sharper, but I hate heights.

One of my personal favourite places in Norway. The amazing Olden valley, with it`s stunning mountains, waterfalls, lakes and glaciers.
