Mossend Road, including the entrance to Mossend A&E is closed to all but Emergency Service vehicles due to a “Police Incident”. An anonymous Police source claims that Officers responded to a call reporting gunshots fired directly across from the Hospital, and that the body of one deceased male was subsequently found. The victim is unnamed at this time, however is described as a white male, mid 20’s, wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and red Converse shoes.
Further sources claim that a senior figure in Organised Crime had self discharged against medical advice, having been brought to Mossend A&E by private car, with injuries sustained in an earlier attack, and that this same unnamed person was gunned down upon leaving Hospital grounds.
In reality I bought a set of 3D printed figures including x3 Scenes of Crime Officers, x1 female uniformed Police Officer and x1 “body”. These were some of the pictures taken as part of the previously shown photoshoot. The story above comes from me recently watching The Sopranos.
There’s been a murder! Detective Chief Inspector (DCI) Taggart may be gone, but Matt Burke and his Detective Inspector (DI), Detective Sergeant (DS) and Detective Constable (DC) colleagues of Strathclyde Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are en-route to investigate!
The first Police Officer at locus, a female uniformed officer wearing a modern stab vest cover/carrier with blue and silver retroreflective battenberg/battenburg markings, speaks with Scenes of Crime Officers (SOCO) who are seen wearing white personal protective equipment (PPE) forensic bodysuits, light blue surgical face masks and boot/shoe covers and dark blue nitrile gloves. One of the crime scene investigators takes photographs of the victim, a white male with black hair wearing a bloodied black leather jacket, blue jeans and red converse shoes.
I recently shared a number of my 1:76 scale Scottish emergency service models. In response to my pictures, someone kindly linked me to a website where I found these 3D printed figures. Depicting both an Ambulance crew with patient and trolley and Scenes of Crime Officers with a “victim” and PC figure.
These figures came unpainted which enabled me to paint the Ambulance crew into the old Irish Green A&E uniform of the Scottish Ambulance Service, with little dots of blue and white on the arms and chest for the star of life and NHS Scotland badges. The SOCO’s are in white PPE suits with light blue boot covers and surgical masks and dark blue nitrile gloves. Our victim wears a bloodied leather jacket, jeans and red Converse - I was proud of getting a tiny white line below the red 😂. Finally the female Strathclyde Police Officer who I’ve painted wearing the more modern stab vest with blue and silver Battenberg markings.
I’m really happy with how these have turned out. I might come back to them with a better caucasian flesh coloured paint, but I’m still very pleased.
Pictured are three different scenes. At first I decided to shoot the SAS crew at Hospital then a street setting for the murder investigation. After reviewing those pictures I came back to the street scene to get some shots of all of the new figures together. I hope you enjoy seeing them.
My Allen key set was in my pocket; they're, therefore, not in this shot but here's what (else) is in my bag.
What a mess. The patient is still inconclusive.
By the way, this is entirely Rachel's fault. I don't mean that in the cute "oh, I blame her" sort of way. No. She is directly responsible for all of this.

A friend from the UK accompanied me to some medical appointments in the US. One of the things she found most surprising is that every patient contact room here contains exam gloves in 3 sizes, and there are holders clearly made for the 3 boxes of gloves (and sometimes there is a box of X-Large on top).
Apparently, in her health care settings there is one size and everyone deals with it -- often badly.

Vince's makes his own tattoo machines for different inking. It was appropriate that the tattoo was of a bicycle crank.
Field recording. Finger of a black nitrile glove covers the little mic and windscreen shown in image 0473. The nitrile 'finger' protects against moisture and is dull and non-reflective. Black balloons are thin, shiny and difficult to work with.
