Let's start with the new Nissan GT-R series.

Nissan introduced the Figaro at the 1989 Tokyo Motor Show, using "Back to the Future" as its marketing tagline. Based on the first-generation Nissan Micra, the Figaro was manufactured at Aichi Machine Industry, a special projects group that Nissan would later call "Pike Factory", which also produced three other niche vehicles: the Be-1, Pao, and S-Cargo. Aichi had originally built independent kei cars like the Cony 360 until Nissan assumed operations in 1966, and was also the original manufacturing location for the first generation Nissan Sunny.

Spotted this thing the very same day i spotted the North American Peugeot 505 and was parked here for around a week, i guess for the New Year's.
This came as quite a surprise to come across and i assume it's from South Africa (where the Langley model name exclusively appears to be) as it's RHD!
These were sold as the Pulsar NX in North America and if i'm not mistaken Pulsar EXA in Japan.
This thing was basically Nissan's idea of an everyman's sports car, quite practical but really didn't pack much 'sport' underneath. I'd say *nowadays* these are insanely rare but these weren't successful at all to begin with!
The following generation of NX was better received with a more competitive drivetrain, cool gradient rear lights and modular rear hatch options which allowed it to be turned into a coupé, cabriolet, targa, station wagon or none, all while maintaining affordability.
Great to see this one, I think owned/driven by a young-ish lad. Not one I can previously recall seeing on Flickr or elsewhere.
Its most recent MoT was just before Chjristmas, showing that it'd only done 58 miles since 2019 (and that was after a gap of four-five years or so when it appears to have been out of use.
This extremely fun and unexpected build is for the 100th Lugnut's challenge
Cudos to the Lugnuts gang for achieving such a milestone and for coming up with a very interesting challenge.
I picked No.24 and my assignment was to build any Nissan Fairly Z.
Some traditional stance and body works have been added to these iconic Japanese beauties. And why are there two you ask? Well, because two is always better than one of course!
Eight wides have always had a special place in my heart because that was the scale I used to build in back when I was a little kid. My old models used to be very warped looking but I think I'm markedly better at them now.
Let me know what you think! :-)

The Nissan Figaro was sold in 1991 only for the Japanese market. The combination of retro styling and Nissan Micra-based mechanicals have made them popular grey imports.
Four colours were available for each of the four seasons; this one is In Lapis Grey which represents winter.
Probably the roughest S Cargo I've ever seen. Unsurprisingly this is carrying a good few rust related advisories; next year might be a difficult MOT. A parking spot right on the seafront probably isn't helping.
