And we'll all float on alright
Already, we'll all float on alright
Don't worry even if things end up a bit
Too heavy we'll all float on alright

** I would love to be on that raft :D
Even though it was just a short thunderstorm…. The plants love it and we are enjoying a slight cool down for a short while.

Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan II
One more look at KAMAYAN SA PALAISDAAN, located in Tayabas, Quezon, which is an ideal getaway restaurant for seafood lovers.
It's a very nice and big restaurant located in natural surroundings, with nipa huts propped above a big pond. The restaurant now has 56 bamboo huts plus two halls that can host 1,700 people.
The menu consists mostly of fish, since Tayabas is known for their light and delectable seafood compared to Lucban's meat fest. Big winners are the Inihaw na Pla-Pla (also known as tilapia), and the inihaw na Hito. All the cooks are native chefs, so one can expect an authentic taste of Tayabas in their dishes. Other dishes, worthy of praise are the Inihaw na Spare Ribs, Squid in Oyster Sauce, and their own version of Salpicao (mixed vegatable & seafoods).
Besides the huts there are also native designed function rooms for Cocktail parties, Conference, Wedding, Birthday and other Private Occasions. Formal and informal dining with lush appurtenances and grand artistically rendered interior furnishing and decor.

bahay kubo is the tagalog word for nipa hut, a shelter made out of bamboo and palm leaves. because of its material which allows good ventilation, it is a good place to take rest and eat typical food in the farm which includes rice, grilled fish like catfish and carp, with sauce, usually a concoction of soy, calamansi and chili pepper for those who like it spicy.
Since its summer time, reminiscing our family vacation outing back in 2016. Hurriedly took a photo of the rainbow formed just after it rained at the beach resort were we stayed. Looking forward to travel without any restrictions anymore!
Banana island, Coron, Palawan
“Life was just a tire swing.
'Jambalaya' was the only song I could sing.
Blackberry pickin', eatin' fried chicken,
And I never knew a thing about pain.
Life was just a tire swing.”― Jimmy Buffett
One of the most beautiful islands I have ever been. :D
Partially between Busuanga and Culion islands, Coron Island faces the Sulu Sea and forms the eastern side of Coron Bay. It is about 20 kilometres (12 mi) long from north to south, and 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) at its widest point.
It is a wedge-shaped mountainous island, dominated by steep cliffs and Karst rock formations made of Permian limestone of Jurassic origin that comprises about 70% of its area. Another 25% is rolling hills, while only 5% is relatively flat. There are 11 lakes nestled in the rugged terrain, of which 3 have underground connections to the sea. There are a few mangroves in coastal areas. Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coron_Island
I am always amaze by the beauty of every sunrise. It brings new hope to move forward and withstand all the challenges in life.
