The photog's that traveled long distances to capture Horsetail Falls couldn't last night as the clouds covering the valley in layers prevented any sun from reaching El Capitan. The cloud layers were definitely very cool. Half Dome is hiding behind the last bit of cloud layer in the distance. El Cap is shrouded on the left.

This leg of the trip ran from Cantril to the Bentonsport Historic Distric along the Des Moines River. We didn't know this area even existed, so this was quite the treat. Enjoy
