The Malabar grey hornbill is a hornbill endemic to the Western Ghats and associated hills of southern India. They have a large beak but lack the casque that is prominent in some other hornbill species. They are found mainly in dense forest and around rubber, arecanut or coffee plantations.

Today I will share with you a little bit of my private life :)

Few days ago we found a little bird who fell from his nest ( we guess) screaming on the ground with my dog barking at him.

Luckily Mel, my fiancee, succeeded to save him and took care of him since then.

One week later the little bird is feeling better and is training to fly.

The funny thing is that she ( because Mel decided that it's a girl) often decides to land on her new mommy :)

So I decided to take some pictures of both of them before Piou-Piou can leave us.

El mercado nocturno de Chiang rai Night Market es uno de los lugares mas concurridos de la ciudad.

En el encontramos todo tipo de artesanía, ropa y cualquier souvenir sobre la ciudad y el Triángulo de Oro.

Muchas de las cosas que fabrican artesanalmente las tribus del norte del país situadas en la selva cercana a Chiang Rai, se venden en este mercado.

Hay un pequeño escenario donde habitualmente toca algún grupo y versiona canciones conocidas para el disfrute de los curiosos que se amontonan en las mesas de los restaurantes de la plaza central

In the arms of mommy

This December 22 we came back to see the little show Margriet and Paula prepared with the kids of their neighborhood.

The ambience was very friendly, the moms brought food and even some daddys were present.

I took some candid shot but ended up doing a portrait session so everyone will get a picture :)

Margriet and Paula distributed around 53 present to all the children.

My contribution will be to offer my pictures to each of them :)

This place is a really beautiful place. One can enjoy mother nature's beauty. Truly a heaven.

The old Song Listener

This old man was surely missing someone deeply maybe an old love or maybe his young children who left him for better earning options. None the less there was an untold story in his eyes . This old guy was a Kishore fan and was listening to a very old song . As it was a busy Saturday evening I didn’t stopped by to ask his name or his story. Gladly I know his place and wili visit him back soon.

Nature and its magical shades are so soothing to the soul. Sunkissed leaves in different shades of green make raindrops look like diamonds spread across!
