This is one of a flock of Great Egrets that was feeding on Night Crawlers in a flooded field this week. That's one freaking big Night Crawler!!! This Egret was part of a small flock of 12 GreatEgrets that were feeding in this flooded field.
Thanks to you all for the very nice compliments. Who knew that folks like pics of Night Crawlers...hahaha.

On the first snowfall of the season i went out at night to see a sidewalk plow doing his duty to keep us safe. it was just past eight at night and he was still hard at work.
