With the spring bird migration now under way in earnest and Lynn in stalker mode to try and get better captures of the varieties she already has, or better yet, ones she doesn't, I have to look a lot harder to find her. She managed to spot a couple of new ones - a water thrush and a green heron.

This is old work from my archive, I forgot about it. I don't like my old work very much but sometimes I find something that I like. Sometimes I am tired of making new photos, what f-number to use, what kind of filters, how much ISO to use, then tripod + Remote Switch Cable. Furthermore - always some worries is it light good or bad etc. Enjoy or not enjoy in old simple work in the time when I didn't have any photo experience, I just click and did photos by feelings.

So finally, after wandering the Centro streets of Tuxtla Chico, Chiapas for 90 minutes, our bus tour group is about to experience some local entertainment and a chocolate making demo on the stage in the Zocalo. These are two or the brightly dressed dancers.

And that is it for Honolulu and ms Noordam. The ships sail away party is in full swing with many pretty drinks around.

The final stop on our Avalon Siem Reap Mekong River cruise was to Kampong Tralach on Tonlé Sap River.

Our visit to Tralach metal smith shop is over.

While waiting to board the Siem Reap our Cambodian tour guide Sokun was giving an explanation and demonstration of the uses of the lotus plant.

Sokun should patent his hat creation.

One way of navigating the smaller canals is by human powered boat. The lads in the back were enjoying the the view while the two in front provided the pedal power.

Always remember to keep to the right when travelling on the canals boys!

The boats are called "Canal Bikes"

The pedalo (water bike) is a fun way to explore the city centre and to enjoy views of Amsterdam's canals, bridges and buildings.

Canal biking has been the city’s top canal attraction since 1984. Make your way through the canals at your leisure whilst taking in the city and the atmosphere of the canals.

The lotus flower has a unique characteristic in that it blooms and sheds its seeds at the same time. In the context of Buddhism, the theory of karma says that, just like the lotus flower, our life is made up of cause and effect. Every cause.. be it action, word or thought.. will imprint an effect that can be seen in this lifetime or in future lives.

The lotus produces a beautiful flower even with its roots in the dirtiest water. The symbolism is that a person can rise above being rooted in the ugliness and suffering of this world, and should try to be pure and help others with the beauty of the spirit.

Wat Phra Kaew, Bangkok, Thailand...

From 29 August 1958- 25 June 2009

I can't believe he went away from us.

I love him so much..

But he would be with us forever

his music was great and he was great.

My heart is really aching.. I wanted to meet him but sadly he is gone.. but he is still my hero.

I LOVE YOU MJ!

Sorry for bad edit.. I didn't have photoshop so I used picnik instead.. and you can't do much.

Btw.. this is beautiful and cheered me up about him:

Dear Michael,

Ain't No Sunshine" in my life today. I get "Butterflies" just thinking about how "Bad" you were. I guess it's just "Human Nature" to want to see "Mama's Pearl." After all, you were the "Greatest Show on Earth." "With A Child's Heart" you showed us the "Man In The Mirror." You were not "Dangerous" nor were you "Bad" or "A Smooth Criminal." Your "Style Of Life" gave many people "Euphoria." You wanted us to "Come Together" because you knew that "Time Waits For No One."

Michael, as I stand here "Looking Through The Window" I feel like I'm in "Heartbreak Hotel." "I Can't Help It", I'm almost "Speechless" right now, because all you did was show us that "Love Is The Thing You Need." You did that by being a "Dancing Machine." You had to be working, working, "Working Day And Night." I was on the floor "All Night Dancing" the "Blues Away."

I stand here saying to myself, "Heaven Can Wait." "You Rock My World", "Wait!", I ask, but I understand that "Love's Gone Bad." Maybe God feels "We've Had Enough" and it's time we "Give It Up." It was Michael's "Destiny" to "Jam" and then go to his "Corner Of The Sky." "Is It Scary?" "Who Is It" that said he did it for the "Money?"

His "Music Takin Over." "Get On The Floor" tonight and ask somebody if they "Wanna Be Startin Something?" "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough." "Can You Feel It?" If you can, "Shout!" You don't have to be "In The Closet." You can be bouncin "Off The Wall." "Whatever Happens", just dance the "Blues Away." Is somebodyhasa a problem with it, tell them "Beat It!" It seems like "You Can't Win." Hey...just "Blame It On The Boogie."

Michael, "One Day In Your Life" would have been too much for most people to bear. "I Just Can't Stop Loving You." I apologize for those who made you a "Stranger In Moscow." They never tried to "Show You The Way To Go." They even went after your "Superfly Sister."

I still want to "Keep The Faith" that "Even Though You're Gone" and "Gone Too Soon", one day we'll "Get It Together." "This Time Around" we'll understand that you were an "Earth Song." "That's What You Get (for being polite)." "It's Your Thing." Thank you for the "Thriller." One day, I wanna, "Wanna Be Where You Are." God Bless You.

Noted while walking the streets of Buda in Budapest. "Elharitas" translate to "Shooting". There was a film crew in the area, not sure if the girl was one of group.

Siem Reap the boat has made its way across Kênh Xáng (Xáng Canal) to Long Khanh A in An Giang Province and is about to dock in the Mekong River.

The boat crew is getting ready to tether the boat. OK sailor Phong, get to work!

So next up a walk about on Long Kanh.

Thursday 14 May Ascension Day in Regensburg Bravaria and groups of young people are decked out in their finest Lederhosen. This group was handing out shots of Jägermeister, which I had to consume one while they watched or they would have destroyed me and the camera - just kidding.

I was just about to go click when the girls arrived so the shot had to be reposed.

Taken in Manchester, with an emphasis on the colour yellow.

The final stop on our Avalon Siem Reap Mekong River cruise was to Kampong Louang & Tralach on Tonlé Sap Lake.

We have arrived at the home of this lady who makes rice wine. Our Cambodian tour guild Sokun is translating for the wine master.

On the streets of Cuernavaca.

A face in the crowd of Cuernavaca's Zocalo.

-Try to different pose-

I saw stranger #64 tonight and thought how much she glowed in the city lights, great hair and skin colour. My stranger was Irish (fab accent) and appeared to be waiting for someone. She was totally at ease when I asked her if I could take her photo.

After a pretty slow few months of 'Stranger Shooting' I now feel fully inspired and refreshed to shoot more frequently.

After a visit to Beomeosa Temple we were bused to the vicinity of Busan's fish market. The bus dropped us off a few blocks from the market. So, here are a bunch of shots of street vactivity in the area.

One street had a group of ladies all dressed in colourful costume on parade. No idea what the occasion was.

While on our walk from Batopilas to Mision de Satevo, on the Batopilas River, we stopped at a rural school to donate school supplies to the students. The school is not well funded and extra supplies are always welcome. After handing out our goodies the teachers and students lined up for a groupie and then we went into the small (tiny) one room building to check out what the kids were learning. We were also permitted to take individual photos.

Of interest our tour guide brought pictures he took of the kids on a previous trip and handed them out to those in attendance he had photos of. The look of enjoyment and unabated pleasure in the kids faces was wonderful to see.

I will send my shots to Rob for use on a future visit.
