ผมทำภาพนี้ขึ้นมาเมื่อประมาณ 9 ปีที่แล้ว โดยใช้เค้าโครงจากภาพถ่าย Jimi Hendrix ที่อยู่ในอินเตอร์เน็ตเป็นต้นแบบ (ซึ่งตอนนี้หาภาพนั้นไม่เจอแล้ว ผมอยากที่จะระบุเครดิตของภาพถ่ายนั้น ถ้าหากใครหาเจอจะขอบคุณมากเลยครับ 🙏) นำมาตัดเป็นโครงรูปร่างหลาย ๆ เลเยอร์ตามระดับความสว่างของแต่ละจุดในภาพ จากนั้นก็มาเลือกว่าจะให้สีอะไรในแต่ละชั้นเลเยอร์ คล้าย ๆ การตัดกระดาษเป็นช่องรูปร่างต่าง ๆ เอามาทาบลงบนพื้นผิวแล้วทาสีลงไป แล้วเกลี่ยด้วยพู่กันเพื่อเก็บรายละเอียด เพียงแต่ทั้งหมดนี้ทำในคอมพิวเตอร์ครับ

ผมเลือกใช้สี CMY ในบริเวณที่มีแสงจ้า เพื่อสื่อถึงเสียงดนตรีของ Jimi Hendrix ที่ไม่ได้เรียนทฤษฎีดนตรีอะไรเลย เริ่มเล่นดนตรีด้วยการอยู่ ๆ ก็จับกีต้าร์มาดีด จากนั้นก็ใช้วิธีนึกภาพแทนตัวโน้ตดนตรีด้วยสีสันต่าง ๆ ขึ้นมาในหัวของเขาครับ
