This 50-foot steel sculpture in the plaza of the McGraw-Hill building is an oblique triangle whose three sides are designed to point at the noon sun on the first day of each season (equinox and solstice). The top points to the sun at noon on the autumnal and spring equinox, the tallest side points to the sun on the first day of summer, and the shortest side is in line with the sun on the first day of winter.
